Doppler use in llamas and alpacas

Dahlbrook Farm have pioneered it's use in Llamas & Alpacas with very successful results. Our testing started late 1991 and over the years we have accurately diagnosed hundreds of pregnancies, as early as 25 days post breeding.

Transabdominal ultrasonic testing is simple to perform, completely safe, can be carried out as often as necessary and further lets you monitor the fetal well-being throughout pregnancy.

A certain amount of skill needs to be acquired in using the pregnancy detector and in identifying the different sounds. This skill is learned quickly and improves with operator experience such that routine examinations can be made with remarkable speed.

An Audio cassette is included with the unit demonstrating the very distinct sounds you are listening for.
